SunProjeX

The only software of its kind for solar thermal dealers.

Purpose built for solar pool heating and domestic hot water. Aurora and Open Solar have no thermal SKUs, so thermal dealers have been quoting from spreadsheets and hand drawings. SunProjeX takes an address, finds the roof, places the collectors, sizes the array against FSEC and SRCC certified figures, and produces a proposal the customer can open on a phone and sign.

The numbers that close the deal

Pool deals close on swim days. Hot water deals close on offset.

A thermal customer is not buying kilowatts, and a proposal built from PV assumptions does not answer their question. SunProjeX computes the two figures that actually decide a thermal sale, from certified collector data rather than a rule of thumb.

Proposal summary tiles reading 15 solar collectors, up to 287 heated swim days, 154 extra swim days per year, and $1,630 per year saved against gas.

Straight off a proposal. Collector count, heated swim days, extra swim days against an unheated baseline, and annual saving against gas.

Certified sizing, not a rule of thumb

Arrays are sized against FSEC and SRCC certified collector performance, with a solar resource lookup for the site. Fire setbacks are deliberately not applied to pool collectors, because no national fire code requires clearance for plastic panels — only the plumbing manifold clearance is reserved.

Any brand, one catalog

The LeverEdge, AET, Aquatherm Industries, Magen ecoEnergy, SunEarth, SunMaxx, Apricus, Heliodyne, Stiebel Eltron, Techno-Solis, Vaughn, Rheem and more, with room to add your own. Carry whatever line you actually sell.

Pool, hot water, or both on one roof

Pool heating, domestic hot water and combination proposals are all first class project types. A combo job puts both systems on the same roof and the same document, instead of two quotes the customer has to reconcile themselves.

In the product

Address to a signable proposal in about fifteen minutes.

Eight steps, in order, down the left rail: customer, pin the location, trace the roof, size the pool, place the panels, add accessories, price it, send it.

The proposal. A share link that always shows the latest version, works on a phone, and needs no PDF. The dealer's own letterhead and license number sit at the top of it.

Where it sits

It sells the work. Something else has to run it.

SunProjeX owns the thermal proposal end to end and hands the won deal downstream. Nothing after it re-opens or re-prices that document.

If you sell thermal, nothing else on the market is built for you.

SunProjeX is in invite only beta with working dealers. Tell us what you carry and we will size a proposal on one of your own jobs.
